Last weekend my mom and I went to St. George. We drove down Friday to see my niece Alexa perform in Miss Saigon. It was really good. Dixie State did an excellent job with the production. Saturday we went to Zion's. It was really crowded because it's National Park Week, which means free entrance, but we still had a great hike. We did the Emerald Pools Hike, it's almost a 3 mile hike and it was gorgeous and HOT. I soaked up every minute of the heat and sun. I loved it. Below we are at the upper pool.
Just a fun shot. Can you tell what's going on?
Ivy has been having fun at Course A'Lure this year. So far there has been 2 events. One in Davis County (below) and the other one at the Humane Society. She got a bronze metal for her time at DC, and a silver metal at the HS. There is at least one event every month that we will be going to during the summer and early fall. It is so fun to watch all of the dogs do it, especially first timers. Anyone is welcome to join me anytime, you can check the schedule out on their website http://www.coursealure.com/ It's amazing how fast she is. The fastest track time at the HS was 12.75 set by a Jack Russel, and Ivy got 13.25.

The main bathroom tile/grout is finally finished. Ryan did an amazing job. I'll post pics as soon as the bathroom is completely done. I can't wait.
Tax season is over, YEAH. It was a pretty slow year this year, but still worth it.
We have started the arduous task of yard work. We have 92 rose bushes between the front and back yard, YES! 92!!! Most of which are half dead because they've never been taken care of. The 5 fruit trees in the back have been cut down. They were so bad off from not being taken care of and planted in the worst place possible that we decided just to get rid of them. I really didn't want to, but it made the most sense. I have more weeds than I do plants, well probably not, but it sure does look like it. We have so much stuff it's hard to decide where to start, what to keep, and what to get rid of. We also have a ton of tulips planted ALL over the place, completely random. We also want to get a garden started. I don't know where we're going to find the time to get it all done, but we'll do our best.

Ryan has been doing a lot of training for skydiving. He is on a four way VFS (vertical formation skydiving) team that plans on competing at Nationals in Chicago in September in the Intermediate division. They have a really good chance at taking Gold! They train in the tunnel usually 2 times a week and then do practice jumps at least once a week.
My Hula Review is coming up, it's May 8 at Weber High, I think at 7:00. I would love to see some friends there. I've been busy preparing for that, practicing and sewing.
Last but certainly not least....We are going to Hawaii in May!!! Our friends John and Stef are getting married on the beach and they invited us to join them! I can't wait to go back.

Your trip looks like such a fun time! I'm jealous! We were supposed to go to Moab this week, but the dumb weather foiled our plans. That is so cool you take Ivy to those courses. She's fast! I'll bet it's so fun to watch.
