39 Days to go until cruise!

I am soooooo excited for our cruise to the Southern Caribbean which leaves on December 6th. I have been doing a lot of research and reading reviews about our cruise and booking shore excursions. In the reviews, a lot of people mention how awesome balcony suites are and if you aren't in one you should definately upgrade if possible. We are in an oceanview room. So being curious I called my travel agent to see how much it would be to upgrade and they said it was only $100. WOW! So, of course I did the upgrade. Yeah!!!!!

I have booked a Kayak, Hike, & Snorkel tour for our first island, St. Thomas. The next day on St. Maarten we plan on just chillin' on the beach and exploring by ourselves. Then in Antigua we are doing the Ultimate Adventure excursion which includes: a 12 zipline tour, hiking, a catamaran sailing, snorkeling, and chillin' on the beach. In St. Lucia and Barbados we are doing tours that hit all the "best of" spots of each island. I can't wait.

I haven't posted in a long time because not much has been going on. My life has consisted of working, working out and trying to eat right (7 more pounds to go till goal weight), watching a little tv, making a couple of skydives, and hanging out with friends.

Ryan just got back from a vacation to Washington DC and Virginia for a skydiving boogie with one of our friends that use to live in Virginia. He had a blast.

Crazy Weekend

The weekend started out with soakin' my hair in sweat. I joined the gym that is at Five points because they have some really fun classes. It was a step combo class and boy did I ever work hard. It was a lot of fun even though I was working out really hard. I gotta get in shape for our cruise in December. That last 5-10 pounds sucks to get off. Friday night we went to Wise Guys with some of our skydiving friends to see Norm Mcdonald. All 3 comics that night were hilarious. It was also very hot in there.
Above:on the way to the comedy club.
Saturday Ryan and I actually got to spend the whole day together because it was bad weather. I have come to enjoy bad weather weekends because of the time we get to spend together. I did have Hula in the morning and then we headed down to SLC with some of our friends and went to The Body Worlds exhibit. I was kind of annoyed because even though you buy tickets for a specific time you still have to wait in line. We waited about an hour until we got into the exhibit and then the actually exhibit was really crowded. It was still cool to see and also watch how fascinated Ryan was with the whole thing. I had already been to one in Vegas so it wasn't as cool for me because it wasn't the first time I had seen it. There were things I liked about the Vegas one better and then there were things I liked better about the SLC one too. The SLC one had cool poses and also had poses involving two people and had a HUGE camel done. The Vegas one had a better embryo/newborn and reproductive section.
Fooling around with props and the camera. Nerd Alert!
On our way home from SLC we stopped atIt is always so fun racing a little go cart. If you haven't done it ever it makes for a great date night. You get to make up a race name, so start thinking of something fun. Mine is Lollipop.

Sunday night we headed to the Homestead Resort and went scuba diving in the Crater. It is a hot water spring/mineral crater. We thought it would be a good idea to have a little refresher before going on our cruise since we hadn't dove since August 07.
I got a new digital underwater camera from ebay for super cheap. The crater made a great place to try it out. I was sick of doing different water sports and worrying about getting my nice digital wet our having to use the waterproof film diposables. Plus it's frustrating not knowing if any of the pics turned out until you get home from vacation. We had several shots in Cali. that were out of focus. It's a total bummer when you can tell the picture would have been a great shot had it been in focus.
