I finally won something!

Last night one of our friends premiered his skydiving movie at Rumors (a club on 25th & Washington) last night. It was fun to get together with all of my skydiving friends again. The movie was really good and they had a raffle after it and I won a tandem paraglide with they guy below(Carson Klein). You can't tell in the picture but he is a total hottie. He is also one my skydiving friends and is currently doing a competition for speedflying (a cross between paragliding and flying a parachute) in Europe. I can't wait until it's warmer to go take a flight.

Mesquite

Friday: Flew down to Mesquite in jump plane, jumped in and had a crazy malfunction that I worked out and landed just fine but it was still a little scary and I definately got an adrenaline rush, there was sunshine but it was too windy to jump again.
Saturday: Too windy to jump for me, sat in sunshine all day but was still cold because of wind, got sick, threw up a lot, went to bed.
Sunday: What a terrible night, didn't jump because I still didn't feel good, flew home in jump plane and returned to the cold. BOO!

Not quite the weekend I wanted, but it was still pretty fun because I got to be with all my skydiving friends and be away from the freezing cold. Ryan had a good weekend though, he got to make 14 jumps. Can't wait till next time, hopefully Valentines weekend.

Girls Night

I had a lot of fun on a girls night out this weekend. We went to dinner at Maples Gardens, went shopping, and then headed to watch Bride Wars. We got nine of us to go to dinner and ten went to the show. It was a great show. Perfect for a bunch of girlfriends to see together. I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pics, but who needs a camera to show you had a bunch of fun. We did have fun and that's all that matters. Thanks girls for a fun night.
