New addition to the family

So I was going to fake everybody out on the blog like I did on facebook, but I decided against it. I didn't want to break anyone's heart that we really aren't going to be having a human baby. Because we really are not having any kids. (For those of you who aren't on Facebook, I made a post that said "We decided to add a member to the family, I can't believe I'm gonna be a mom." Wow the responses I got. I found it to be pretty hilarious. So here's the nicer way of introducing the new family member.

This is Ivy. This picture was taken on Saturday and she is 4 weeks old. We get to take her home in 3 weeks. She is an English Springer Spaniel and I am so excited to bring her home.

And this is what happens when you're really excited about bringing them home but can't yet. You go shopping and spoil them.

Soap Box-Spanish Speaking in America

I just have to vent because I get so annoyed about this. I know I shouldn't let it bug me because there is nothing I can do about it, but I just can't help it. My problem is we are in America. Our language IS English NOT Spanish. I don't care if the hispanic people want to come and live here, but I feel that they should learn to speak our language and not expect us to learn their's if they plan on living in the U.S. I don't think we should have to cater to them. The whole "press 1 for English" when calling a company really makes me made. How do you feel about this? I was just wondering if other people got bugged by this?
