So I was going to fake everybody out on the blog like I did on facebook, but I decided against it. I didn't want to break anyone's heart that we really aren't going to be having a human baby. Because we really are not having any kids. (For those of you who aren't on Facebook, I made a post that said "We decided to add a member to the family, I can't believe I'm gonna be a mom." Wow the responses I got. I found it to be pretty hilarious. So here's the nicer way of introducing the new family member.
This is Ivy. This picture was taken on Saturday and she is 4 weeks old. We get to take her home in 3 weeks. She is an English Springer Spaniel and I am so excited to bring her home. 
And this is what happens when you're really excited about bringing them home but can't yet. You go shopping and spoil them.

How exciting Laura! I can't wait to meet her. Neither can Belle... She loves getting new cousins.
Really? No kids?! How can you not want kids?! You'll be so sad when you are an old lady and have no grandkids to spoil!

What a cutie. Can we come and play with it!! She looks just like dakota when she was a puppy.
She is adorable! Now I want a new puppy and I have 4!
