Lake Powell

We took a fun trip to Lake Powell with my parents and Ryan's sister Melissa. One of the hikes we went on was 12 miles round trip, it took 6 hours. I knew what I was hiking to, otherwise I would have given up. I could barely walk the next day. The hike was to Choall falls down Navajo canyon. It usually is only about an hour to and hour and half, but with the water level as low as it is, it made for a long hike. We saw 4 wild horses in the canyon one of which was a colt. The top picture is of Weatherill Canyon. It was a narrow canyon with some of the parts the water was to deep to even touch. We had a ton of fun. It is sad to see the water level so low, but Lake Powell is still one of my favorite places on earth.

I would love to see that! Although, I don't think I could hike that far! Hopefully the lake fills up and someday I won't have to walk so far!

Lake Powell is the bomb. I love going there. Those are some sweet pictures. That waterfall is awesome, I bet it was cool in person. I am glad you did a blog.
